We are all in this together.

During this unprecedented time, our primary focus is the health and wellbeing of our residents, employees, communities, and clients. RAM is monitoring the COVID-19 situation daily. We have added extra precautions to our cleaning and showing procedures to ensure we are doing are part in preventing the spread of COVID-19. In addition we are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) for updates, guidelines and protocols.

If you are experiencing financial hardship from the pandemic, there are many government institutions and resources available to help. Please see the list below, and don’t forget to check your local government website for a more detailed list of benefits in your area!

South Carolina Disaster Relief Programs
The Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) program can provide unemployment benefits to citizens who become unemployed as a direct result of a Presidentially declared major disaster.

South Carolina rental assistance for those in need.

Charitable Organizations

In addition to government resources, there are many charities and organizations dedicated to assisting renters with rent payments, utilities, food, and other crucial aspects of everyday living. Please click the below links to learn more about them.

Salvation Army Emergency Assistance Program
If you are recently unemployed, visit the Department of Labor website to see what benefits you may be eligible for.

Wateree Community Action

Serves Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee, Richland and Sumter counties. They have programs for utility bill assistance, rental assistance, educational & employment assistance, head start, and weatherization.

Modest Needs
Modest Needs offers short-term financial assistance to individuals and families in temporary crisis.

Relevium Foundation
The Relevium Foundation provides temporary relief to residents of rental homes by removing some of the financial barriers that are preventing individuals from building a better future for themselves and their families.
